If you are thinking about BUYING or SELLLING a home, it's a good idea to first learn more about Home Values.

A great way to do this is by looking at the statistics of recent sales of homes that are comparable to the one you are thinking about buying or selling.

Up until a couple of years ago, the only way you could get this information was from a licensed real estate agent or by researching county records. But a 2009 ruling by the National Associaton of Realtor, makes it possible for you to search the information using the database that is provided by the Multiple Listing service - the same database that real estate agents use.

In order to access this information, the National Association of Realtors requires all visitors to register as a way of preventing this information being used for commercial purposes by unauthorized parties.
